Dulhorn Farm is situated on a working farm, however, the site and the areas used for housing all our touring caravans are on flat, level access in each of the four fields. Some of the roadways and walkways are tarmac and some are stoned. Please note that access to the fishing lake and games field are across fields that may be slightly uneven, but are generally flat.
The Reception Office is on the level and the entrance door is 800mm wide. There is parking available immediately outside of the Reception office for booking in. You will then be able to park directly next to your caravan once pitched. There are wardens on site and an out of hours emergency number is supplied.
All general confirmation documentation is provided in a standard size font, however, should you require this in large print, please let us know and we shall be happy to provide this upon request.
There is one disabled toilet by the Reception Office that has been fitted with the necessary handrails and adaptations to meet the standard requirements.
Hay Meadow (Field 2) and Knoll View (Field 4) both have a “Family Bathroom” which is fully accessible with a walk in shower, baby changing facilities, and necessary handrails and adaptations to meet the minimum requirements for accessibility. There is adequate lighting around the site at night. The flooring in these facilities is non-slip but we always ask that you exercise caution on wet floors.
There are two laundry facilities on site, but only the laundry in Knoll View has level access. There is a washing up area in Knoll View where one of the sinks is lowered to the standards required for standard wheelchair accessible height.
The Self Catering Cottages here at Dulhorn Farm are not specifically adapted for those in a wheelchair. Though we do have a ramp available for entry to the cottages, no other adaptations have been made and we therefore do not recommend for those with very limited or no independent mobility.
